E-Signature Consent

You are being asked to review and sign a document electronically through Speeding Studio, a service operated by Opencast Media Inc. ("we", "us"). Before you sign, please read this consent. By proceeding, you agree to the following.

Agreement to sign electronically

You agree to receive, review, and sign this document electronically rather than on paper. Your electronic signature is intended to have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and applicable law in Canada, the United States, and many other jurisdictions generally gives electronic signatures that effect.

How your signature is recorded

When you sign, we record the signed document together with an audit trail: who signed, in what order, at what time, and a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of the exact document version signed. The audit trail is append-only by design: our systems prevent it from being edited after the fact, and because every record carries a cryptographic fingerprint that anyone can check on a public verification page, any alteration would be detectable. These records may be retained even if the underlying account is later closed, because they document a completed signing.

You confirm who you are

The signing invitation was addressed to you personally. By signing, you confirm that you are the person named as the signer, and you agree not to forward your signing link or let anyone else sign in your place.

Your choices

• You may decline to sign electronically. If you prefer to sign on paper, do not proceed — contact the person who sent you the document and ask them to arrange an alternative. Declining electronic signing does not by itself affect the terms of what you were asked to sign.
• You may stop at any time before completing. A signature only takes effect when you complete the signing steps.
• You may keep a copy. After signing, you can download the completed document; we recommend you save your own copy. If you cannot download it, ask the sender or contact us and we will provide one.

What you need

To sign electronically you need a device with a current web browser and an internet connection, and access to the email address or phone number the invitation was sent to. If you cannot view the document, do not sign — contact the sender.
